Steadily Going

Hey everyone! How’s it going? It’s been a while, but I have so many wonderful things to update y’all on! First, our new team of students is here and it’s safe to say that they’re wonderful. Every single one has come so eager to learn and to serve, and I can't wait to see where this year takes them. We’ve kicked the harvest into full gear now and are already starting new discipleship groups and meeting new people of peace. It’s also been such a joy to see how the students have taken ownership of the harvest and training materials. Just the other day, we had visitors staying in the house, and the students got to lead a formal training using the tools that they had just recently learned themselves!

We’ve also started hosting worship and coffee nights at the church which I’ve been heading up. Let me tell you. I have never planned an event before and it was quite the learning curve. Thankfully, everything went smoothly in the end and now we’re already planning for the next! Despite the hiccups that we had and the stress that I felt, the one thing that the Lord kept reminding me is that it’s not about me. Everything that we’re doing is for his glory, so even if things don't always go according to plan, it’s okay.

The coffee shop is also doing well. We’re still only open on Sunday mornings, but we’re now taking the steps towards being open every day of the week! This time where I’ve gotten to refresh myself on making coffee and getting back into the groove of being a barista has been so nice, and this season that the Lord has me in has been amazing. Although we’re super busy now with the students, this has been a time for me to learn and grow and soak in what the Lord has for me!

As always, thank you so much to those of you that take time out of your day to read these updates. And thank you to those that partner with me financially. Without you, this wouldn't be possible, and I wouldn’t be here living the calling that God has put on my life. I’m so very grateful for you.
