Happy One Year!

Hey everyone! It’s been a minute, but oh boy! There's so much exciting news to update yall on!

First, since my last update, I’ve been battling some sickness. I contracted dengue fever which is a virus that’s transmitted by mosquitoes. I had a high fever for about a week, which was followed by a week of extreme fatigue. Then, when I finally was getting better, I got sick again because the virus attacks your immune system. Praise the Lord, however, because I’m now fully recovered, and fully functioning. I’m fully in ministry both in the harvest and in the coffee shop.

In the coffee shop, things are looking amazing. I’m currently training two people who are both from right here in San Antonio, and they are both killing it! I’m very excited for the future with them, and I’m very optimistic about hiring in the future. We’re also now waiting on a shipment of furniture to come in, and once it does, we’ll be one step closer to opening throughout the week. Currently, we still don’t have an opening date, but I’m very optimistic that it will be opened this year.

Now in the harvest, things have also been amazing. The Lord has been doing miracles in these families. Some are through healing, through emotional healing, familial healing, and so many salvations. It’s been amazing to see and a blessing to be a part of. The Lord is now raising up leaders in the community, and we’re seeing Guatemalans catch the vision of being disciples that make disciples. The families in our groups are now making groups of their own and are even going out with us into the community.

I have now officially lived here for a full year, and to see the way that not only the ministry is growing but also to see growth in my own self gives me so much hope for the future. I can’t wait to see where we are in another year.

I can’t tell each and every one of you how grateful I am for all of your support. The things that are happening here are because of you and your generosity to keep me here. Through you, the Lord is changing so many lives. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Many apologies for the inconsistent updates, now that I’m back to my normally health, I will be putting them out with more regularity, and I can't wait to share even more about what the Lord is doing here!
